About Tekne

Tekne Interaction System, Inc. is a New York State licensed private school specializing in one-on-one writing skills assessment and instruction. This provides assurance to our clients that Tekne’s writing skills assessment is competency based and approved as an objective and reliable measure of skills attained. Instruction is skills oriented; performance objective driven; and based upon a curriculum of one-on-one instruction, also approved by the New York State Education Department.

Assessment and learning design processes are brought together in Tekne’s database instructional management system to assure the highest level of individualization and customization as a client progresses through a program. Color codes are used to assess and develop punctuation patterns. Those patterns are called “Writing Rhythms.”

Tekne Interaction Systems, Inc. provides 10-hour courses for adults and secondary school students customized to either occupational or academic goals. Please review the School’s Course Catalog for course descriptions.

For individuals with documented disabilities, Tekne Interaction Systems, Inc. offers 20-hour courses, also described in the School Course Catalog. In addition, the Assistive Technology Service offers technology training and documentation services for accommodations. The Assistive Technology Service is separate from the educational services provided by the School.
